The Basics of Playing Royal Hold’Em Poker

This casino game makes itself unique by having only high cards (ten, jack, king, queen, ace) in the deck. Hence the name Royal. This game is played with up to six players on a 20 card deck. Here some cards are dealt face up in the middle of the table and shared by all players. And each player has two pocket or hole cards which they consider with the five community cards to make the possible five-card hand.

Hand rankings follow the same traditional poker structure, although only a Royal Flush applies and standard pairs do not apply. Thus players will draw to Royal flushes, quads, full house, straights and two pairs to build the strongest hand.

Always there will be some form of forced betting in poker. This ensures the action of every hand. Hold Em is played with two blinds (a bet before the pocket cards are received). The Two players to the left of the dealer start with placing blind bets. The small blind is posted by the first player and the big blind by the second. Always the small blind will be half of the big blind, and the big blind will always be minimum bet at the table. During this betting round, each player in turn takes one action mentioned below:

1) Bet — Put money in the pot
2) Call — To match / equal another players bet
3) Fold — Fortified cards and your chance of wining the pot
4) Check — Passing on and making an action (if no bet is in play)
5) Raise — To increase another players bet
6) Re-Raise — To increase another players raise.

There will be 4 rounds and finally showdown.

1) First round – The pre flop dealing the cards.
2) Second round – The flop
3) Third round – The Turn
4) Fourth and Final round – The River

And finally the showdown, where 5 and 7 cards can be used. So that the best possible five-cards hand can be formed from their two hole cards and the five community cards on the table. If we don’t want to use any of our own cards, so we may do. We can play the board if the best hand is shown on the board and then the remaining player will show there cards, then the winner will be found.
